Pursuant to paragraph 13 of Practice Direction: Committal for Contempt of Court – Open Court

On 21 April 2015, as a District Judge of the County Court at Bristol, sitting at the Bristol Magistrates Court, Mr Kevin Brentnall admitted being in breach of 2 separate parts of order made by District Judge Rowe on the 10 April 2015, served on him on 14 April 2015. The order was made under the provisions of the Anti Social Behavior, Crime and Policing Act 2014, which forbid Kevin Brentnall from entering a proscribed exclusion zone, and going within a proscribed distance of a named individual. I committed Kevin Brentnall to a period of 6 weeks imprisonment concurrent on each breach, the terms of imprisonment being suspended until 11.59 pm on 10 April 2016.
