On 11th September 2015, HHJ Allan Gore QC found John Mongan guilty of Contempt of Court.
Mongan admitted statements of fact in affidavit evidence filed on behalf of the Claimant that on 3rd September 2015, he was present in an exclusion zone from which he had been prohibited by an earlier antisocial behaviour injunction granted by District Judge Stone on 28th July 2014, and that on that occasion he had exhibited behaviour also in breach of the terms of that injunction. He was sentenced to 44 days imprisonment concurrently in respect of each breach after taking into account time served on remand.
