The Commissioners for HM Revenue and Customs -v- Amran Munir

On Wednesday 6 May the Court sentenced Amran Munir to 6 months’ imprisonment upon his admission of knowing and intentional breaches of an Order dated 18 March 2014 appointing a provisional liquidator of Parkwell Investments Limited by causing payments of approximately £200,000 to be made from the company’s resources on 19 and 20 March 2015 thereby putting those funds beyond the control of the provisional liquidator.
