Robert Arthur Pickthall

2. In relation to an order dated

1 December 2015

3. which provided that the Defendant should not [set out relevant paras of the order]

Paragraph 8a)

Must not contact or attempt to contact directly or indirectly any current employee or Councillor of the First Claimant by any means, including but not limited to, sending emails, letters or text messages

Paragraph 8c)

Must not publish to the public or any section of the public by any means including but not limited to publication on the internet, or by hard copy bulletin or newsletter or pamphlet or by petition any allegation that any current or former employee or Councillor of the First Claimant is dishonest or is engaged in or suspected of being engaged in corruption or criminality of any kind, particularly but not limited to the purchase or sale of land at Butchers Stile Playing Field, Davenham and/or is engaged in or suspected of being engaged in any other cover-up of corruption or criminality of any kind, particularly but not limited to the purchase or sale of land at Butchers Stile Playing Field, Davenham

4. the court found following admissions made she had disobeyed/breached that order by

  • on 4 occasions published material on his website in terms breaching paragraphs 8c of the Order;
  • on 4 occasions made contact with Councillors and Employees of the First Claimant

in breach of paragraph 8a of the Order

5. and imposed the following sentence(s) for those breach(es)

Activation of the existing suspended sentence of 3 months

6. Accordingly it was ordered that Mr Robert Pickthall be committed for contempt to Her Majesty’s Prison at Manchester for a total period of 3 months or until lawfully discharged if sooner, and that a warrant of arrest and committal be issued forthwith.
