In relation to the above numbered case on 22 February 2016, District Judge Cope sitting at Bristol Civil and Family Justice Centre was satisfied that Leslie Mylius had been guilty of contempt of court by disobeying the order of 17 September 2015. The order provided that the defendant was forbidden from playing loud music or causing any noise nuisance so that it could be heard from outside the defendant’s property. The defendant was also forbidden from calling the claimant’s out of hours contact service unless it was for a genuine emergency repair need. The defendant was found to be in breach of the injunction in respect of these two particular provisions between the dates of 4 October 2015 and 17 November 2015. The court imposed no penalty adjourning sentence generally with permission for the claimant to restore its application.
