In the Bournemouth County Court on 15 November 2016 JOSEPH OWENS was committed to a term of imprisonment by District Judge Avis for the following breaches of an Injunction made on 12 July 2016:

  1. At approximately 1900 on 20 July 2016 the defendant was seen in the little car park on the north side of Hawkwood Road, in between Sainsbury’s and the library in breach of paragraph 1 of the injunction order made on 12 July 2016 by Deputy District Judge Ainsworth.

Count 1. Immediate imprisonment for  6 weeks.

  1. On 31 July 2016 at approximately 1600 hours the defendant was seen cycling along Hawkwood Road near to the entrance to Hawkwood Road Car Park at the Sea Road end of the car park in breach of paragraph 1 of the injunction order made on 12 July 2016 by Deputy District Judge Ainsworth.

Count 2. Immediate imprisonment for 6 weeks concurrent to breach number 1.

  1. On 10 November 2016 at approximately 0010 the defendant was seen in the Sovereign Centre Car Park and subsequently detained by 2 Police Officers. During the incident the defendant shouted at PS Corbett “I’ve got a fucking needle” and proceeded to hold the hypodermic syringe in his fist pointing it at PS Corbett causing him to be in fear for his safety.

Count 3. Immediate imprisonment for 6 weeks concurrent to breach number 1.

  1. Total period of imprisonment 6 weeks.
