Committal for contempt of Court in Open Court in the County Court sitting at Birmingham: Jarrett

|Contempt of Court

In Birmingham Magistrates’ Court sitting at Victoria Law Courts, Birmingham

On the 24th day of November 2015 this court committed Mr Zeb Jarrett to prison for contempt of court. The basis of that decision was that during another’s trial, in which a witness was giving evidence from behind a screen, upon being asked to leave the public gallery for persistent and disruptive talking, he leant around the screen and swore at and insulted the witness.

Accordingly it was ordered that Zeb Jarrett be committed for contempt to prison for a (total) period of 14 days.

District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Robinson
