Wolverhampton City Council -v- Devon Miklos

In relation to the above numbered case, on 8th April 2016 District Judge Watson sitting in the County Court at Wolverhampton as a District Judge of the County Court, sentenced the Defendant in that case, Devon Miklos to an immediate custodial sentence of 3 months for Contempt of Court for breach of a final injunction order dated 11th December 2015. The basis of the imposition of that sentence was that Devon Miklos was in breach of the injunction order by

1. entering Wolverhampton City centre, as defined by the ring road (A4150) as detailed on the map attached to the order marked ‘annex A’.

The breach was contrary to the terms of the final Injunction order dated 11th December 2015 to which Devon Miklos was subject.
