  2. In relation to an order dated 16 February 2017

    1. Behave in a manner that causes or is likely to cause nuisance or annoyance to any person in the LB Tower Hamlets
    2. Be in possession of any drug paraphernalia in LB Tower Hamlets
    3. Throw objects, such as liquids, litter or anything that may cause harm to another person
  4. the court found that following admissions made he had disobeyed/breached  that order by
    1. Being in possession of drug paraphernalia on Corbert Place E1 on 6 May 2017
    2. Being in possession of drug paraphernalia on Whitechapel Rd E1 on 25 May 2017
    3. Behaving in a manner that caused a person a nuisance and annoyance on Whitechapel Road E! on 25 May 2017
    4. Throwing an open can of alcohol on Whitechapel Road E1on 25 May 2017 in a manner likely to cause harm to another person
  5. and imposed the following sentence(s) for those breach(es)
Breach

i)  Being in possession of drug paraphernalia on Corbert Place on 6th May 2017
ii) Being in possession of drug paraphernalia on Whitechapel Rd on 25th May 2017
iii) Behaving in a manner that caused a person nuisance and annoyance on Whitechapel Rd on 25th May 2017
iv) Throwing an open can of alcohol on Whitechapel Rd on 25th May 2017 in a manner likely to cause harm to another person

Aggravating factors included intravenous injecting of drugs in a public place, previous breaches on 24th February (suspended order imposed) and 27th February (immediate 28 day order and activation of suspended order)

i) 56 days imprisonment
ii) 56 days imprisonment
iii) 56 Days imprisonment
iv) 56 days imprisonment

To be served concurrently

  1. Accordingly it was ordered that GARY SLINEY be committed for contempt to Her Majesty’s Prison at Pentonville for a (total) period of 56 days or until lawfully discharged if sooner, and that a warrant of arrest and committal be issued forthwith
