Pursuant to paragraph 13 of Practice Direction: Committal for Contempt of Court – Open Court

In relation to Case No. C03B0327 on 22 March 2017 at the County Court at Central London I, HH Judge Wulwik, sentenced Rakib Uddin to an immediate custodial sentence of 10 weeks for contempt of court. The basis of that sentence was that Rakib Uddin on 5, 14 and 20 December 2016 breached an injunction order granted on 10 November 2016 under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 in that contrary to the order he had congregated in a group of two or more persons within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and had behaved in an anti-social manner. He was sentenced to 10 weeks for each breach to run concurrently, making a total sentence of 10 weeks.
