Pursuant to paragraph 13 of Practice Direction : Committal for Contempt of Court – Open Court

In relation to Case No. C00B0096 on 9 March 2017 at the County Court at Central London I, HH Judge Wulwik, sentenced Tanbir Hussain to an immediate custodial sentence of 12 weeks for contempt of court. The basis of that sentence was that Tanbir Hussain on 1 March 2017 breached an injunction granted on 21 November 2016 under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 in that contrary to the order he had congregated in a group of two or more persons within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, he had entered an area which he was forbidden from entering, he had behaved in an anti-social manner, in a manner that was likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to one or more persons, and he had associated with someone with whom he was forbidden from associating in a public place. He was sentenced to 12 weeks for each breach to run concurrently, making a total sentence of 12 weeks.
