Committal for contempt of court heard in open court at the County Court sitting at Bow.

In the matter of claim number CO00BO0096 on the 23rd day of January 2017 I, District Judge Vokes sentenced Tanbir Hussain to a custodial sentence of 10 weeks for contempt of court. The basis of the sentence was that Defendant had breached an injunction order dated the 26th November 2015 as varied on 21st November 2016 made under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 in that contrary to the order he was found to have been congregating with 2 or more person  within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets ion the 29th December 2016 and 18th January 2017  to which he was subject. He was sentenced to 8 weeks and 10weeks in custody respectively. The sentence to run concurrently making a total of 10 weeks.
