In relation to the above numbered case on 15 June 2017, Her Honour Judge Stacey sitting in the County Court at Birmingham as a Circuit Judge of the County Court, sentenced the Defendant in that case, to a custodial sentence of 4 (four weeks) for contempt of court on breach of an Injunction Order dated 22 June 2016.The basis of the sentence imposed is that Miss Emma Taylor;

Was in breach of the Injunction, by

1.  On Monday 17th April 2017 at 7:00pm the Defendant approached the property of Miss Terah Gray of 14 Kemble Drive, castle Vale, Birmingham, B35 6QS, knocked on the door and asked to speak with her. When Miss Gray advised the Defendant that she had contacted the Police about a recent house party the Defendant had, the Defendant  became enraged and raised her voice and shouted at Miss Gray “ You fucking Bitch” and “ You fucking Liar”.

2.  The Defendant waver her arms in a threatening manner. The Defendant subsequently walked down the drive way shouting towards Miss Gray “Come off your driveway and we can fight”. The Defendant was intoxicated.

3. Miss Gray subsequently closed the door however she could hear the Defendant and members of her family still shouting at her from outside.

1.  4 weeks, suspended until 15 June 2018

2.  4 weeks, suspended until 15 June 2018

3. 4 weeks, suspended until 15 June 2018

All of the above sentences to run concurrently and therefore the total sentence is 4 (four) weeks, suspended until 15 June 2018.

These breaches were contrary to the terms of the Injunction Order dated 22 June 2016 to which Miss Emma Taylor was subject.
