In relation to the above numbered case on 30 June 2017, District Judge Shorthose sitting in the Count Court at Birmingham as a Judge of the County Court, sentenced the Defendant in that case Samantha Downey to be committed for contempt to Her Majesty’s Prison, (Foston Hall, Foston, Derby, Derbyshire DE65 5DN, for a period of 12 weeks, or until lawfully discharged if sooner, and that a warrant of arrest & committal be issued forthwith.

Was in breach of the Injunction, by:

  1. Allegation 1:  By causing nuisance & annoyance & using intimidating language, by shouting & swearing in breach of paragraph 1 & 2 of Injunction Order dated 8 April 2016 on Friday 21 April 2017.
  2. Allegation 2 – 11:  By causing nuisance & annoyance in breach of the Injunction Order dated 8 April 2016, on Saturday 22 April 2017, Wednesday 28 April 2017, Thursday 4 May 2017, and Saturday 6 May 2017, 8 May, 10 May & 12 May 2017.
  3. These breaches were contrary to the terms of the Injunction Order dated to which was subject.
