In relation to the above numbered case on 10 November 2017 District  Judge  Taylor sitting in the County Court at Birmingham as a District Judge of the County Court, sentenced the Defendant in that case, to a custodial sentence of 56 days for contempt of court on breach of an Injunction Order dated 16 June 2017.  The sentence is suspended until 10 November 2019.

The basis of the sentence imposed is that Wayne Bickerstaff.

Was in breach of the Injunction, by

1. On  9 October 2017 you breached clause (2) of the injunction because you entered and were present in the exclusion area by attending the property, Flat 3, 41 Hurst Lane, Shard End, Birmingham.

2. On 9 October 2017 between 10.30am and 11am you breached clause (1) of the injunction by threatening to use violence and/or intimidating and/or harassing Stephen Cowley by:pointing at him through a window; shouting abuse including the words “YOU TOSSER, YOU WANKER” and by threatening to smash his windows.

3. On  3 November 2017 you breached clause (2) of the injunction because you entered and were present in the exclusion area by attending the property, Flat 3, 41 Hurst Lane, Shard End, Birmingham

These breaches were contrary to the terms of the Injunction Order dated 16 June 2017.  to which Wayne Bickerstaff was subject.
