Birmingham City Council -v- John Alexander

In relation to the above numbered case on 8 June 2016, His Honour Judge Worster sitting at the Birmingham Civil Justice Centre as a Circuit Judge of the County Court at Birmingham, sentenced the Defendant in that case, John Alexander to a suspended custodial sentence of 6 weeks for contempt of court on breach of an Injunction Order dated 29 January 2016, The basis of the sentence imposed is that John Alexander

Was in breach of the Injunction, by

1. On 9 January 2016 loud music played and banging in breach of the Interim Injunction dated 23 December 2015.

2. On 12 January 2016 loud music and loud voices from the property in breach of the Interim Injunction dated 23 December 2015.

3. On 13 January 2016 loud banging at the property in breach of the Interim Injunction dated 23 December 2015.

4. On 24 March 2016 loud voices from the property in breach of the Final Injunction dated 29 January 2016.

5. On 8 April 2016 loud banging and loud voices coming from the property in breach of the Final Injunction dated 29 January 2016.

These breaches were contrary to the terms of the Injunction Orders dated 23 December 2015 and a Final Injunction Order on 29 January 2016, to which John Alexander was subject.
