|Contempt of Court

Pursuant to paragraph 13 of Practice Direction: Committal for Contempt of Court – Open Court

In relation to A00GL451 on 10th July 2015, at the County Court at Gloucester & Cheltenham sitting at Gloucester sitting as a District Judge, I sentenced Phillip Christopher Nield to a custodial sentence of 91 days for contempt of court, suspended for one year on the basis of further compliance with the injunction order of 15th July 2014. The basis of that sentence was that Phillip Nield had on 6 occasions between 1st September 2014 and 10th April 2015 disobeyed the terms of an anti-social behaviour injunction dated 15th July 2014, which prohibited him from various behaviours including causing a nuisance or annoyance to any occupants of properties neighbouring 127 Monkscroft, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, or from making excessive noise from within or in the immediate vicinity of that property.
