|Contempt of Court

Pursuant to paragraph 13 of Practice Direction: Committal for Contempt of Court – Open Court

In relation to B00GL015 on 1st June 2015, at the County Court at Gloucester & Cheltenham sitting at Gloucester sitting as a District Judge, I sentenced Robert Edwards to a custodial sentence of 28 days for contempt of court, suspended for 12 months on his continued compliance with the injunction of 16th January 2015. The basis of that sentence was that Robert Edwards had on three occasions disobeyed the terms of an anti-social behaviour injunction dated 16th January 2015, which prohibited him from various matters including causing a nuisance or annoyance to any other occupants of properties neighbouring Flat 3, 18 Byron Avenue, Gloucester, or from making excessive noise from within or in the immediate vicinity of that property.
