Upper Tribunal Judge Retirement: Deans

Upper Tribunal Judge Mungo Effingham Deans retires as an Upper Tribunal Judge (Immigration and Asylum) and Resident Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Glasgow, with effect from 1 June 2017.

Upper Tribunal Judge Deans (61) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1981. He was appointed a part-time Immigration Adjudicator in 1994, a Regional Immigration Adjudicator (Glasgow) in 1996 and a Legal Member of the Immigration Appeal Tribunal in 2000. He was appointed a Resident Senior Immigration Judge in 2005 (now known as Upper Tribunal Judge (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) and Resident Judge of the First-tier Tribunal Glasgow)).
