Tribunal Judge David William Williams retires with effect from 1 May 2014.

Tribunal Judge Williams (68) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1970. He was appointed a Social Security Commissioner and Child Support Commissioner in 1998 (now known as Upper Tribunal Judge (Administrative Appeals Chamber)). He was appointed part-time Chairman of the VAT and Duties Tribunal, and Deputy Special Commissioner of Income Tax in 2003 (now known as Upper Tribunal Judge (Tax and Chancery)).
