Tribunal Judge John Sommerville retires with effect from 1 May 2014.

Tribunal Judge Sommerville (68) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1982. He was appointed a Deputy District Judge in 1993, a full-time Immigration Adjudicator in 2003 (now known as Judge of the First Tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber)) and a Deputy Upper Tribunal Judge (Immigration and Asylum Chamber) in 2010.
