Tribunal Judge Mary Ina May retired with effect from 1 May 2017.

Tribunal Judge May (65) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1979. She was appointed a part-time Chairman of Social Security Appeal Tribunals in 1988 and Disability Appeal Tribunals in 1991. She was appointed a full-time Chairman of Social Security Appeal Tribunals, Medical Appeal Tribunals, Disability Appeal Tribunals and Child Support Appeal Tribunals in 1996 (now known as Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Social Entitlement Chamber).
