Tribunal Judge Kevin Michael Heynes retires with effect from 7 September 2016.

Tribunal Judge Heynes (68) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1980. He was appointed a part-time Chairman of Social Security Appeal Tribunals in 1997 and a Legally Qualified Panel Member of Appeal Tribunals in 1999. He was appointed a part-time Immigration Adjudicator in 2001 and a full-time Immigration Adjudicator in 2002 (now known as Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Immigration and Asylum Chamber)).
