Tribunal Judge Retirement: Ball

Tribunal Judge Peter Robert Ball retires with effect from 1 August 2016.

Judge Ball (65) was admitted as a Solicitor in 1975. He was appointed a part-time Chairman of the Social Security Appeal Tribunals in 1986, an Assistant Recorder and a District Tribunal Judge in 1996. He was appointed a full-time Chairman of the Social Security Appeal Tribunals in 1996 (now known as Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (Social Entitlement Chamber)) and a Recorder in 2000. He was appointed a Legal Member of the Gambling Appeal Tribunal 2007 (now known as a Judge of the First-tier Tribunal (General Regulatory Chamber)).
