Specialist Civil Circuit Judge Appointment: Sarah Watson

The Queen has appointed District Judge Sarah Ann Watson to be a Specialist Civil Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lidington MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable Sir Ian Burnett.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Midland Circuit, based at Birmingham Civil and Family Justice Centre with effect from Monday 27 November 2017.

Notes to editors

Sarah Ann Watson, aged 55, will be known as Her Honour Judge Sarah Watson. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1987. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2001 and as a District Judge in 2007.
