The Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, has appointed His Honour Judge Stephen John Arthur Eyre QC to be a Specialist Civil Circuit Judge at Manchester Civil Justice Centre with effect from Monday 20 November 2017.

Stephen John Arthur Eyre QC, aged 59, will be known as His Honour Judge Eyre QC. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1981 and took Silk in 2015. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2005, a fee-paid Legal Member of the Mental Health Review Tribunal in 2007 (now known as a fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Health, Education and Social Care Chamber (Mental Health)) and as a Circuit Judge in 2015.
