His Honour Judge Nicholas Peter Lees Price QC retires as a Senior Circuit Judge with effect from 30 September 2014.

His Honour Judge Price QC (70) was called to the Bar (G) in 1968, took Silk in 1992 and elected a Bencher of Gray’s Inn in 2000. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1983 and a Recorder in 1987. He was a Member of the General Council of the Bar and Associate Member of the Criminal Bar Association from 1993 to 1995, Joint Vice Chairman for the Legal Services Committee in 1994, Vice Chairman for the Public Affairs Committee in 1995, Gray’s Inn Continuing Education Committee from 1998 to 2003, Professional Standards Committee from 2002 to 2005 and the Professional Conduct and Complaints Committee from 2005 to 2006. He was appointed a Legal Member of the Restricted Patients Panel in 1999, a Circuit Judge in 2006, and Senior Circuit Judge and Resident Judge for Kingston-Upon-Thames Crown Court Centre from 2011. He was appointed the Honorary Recorder of Richmond-Upon-Thames in 2013.
