Senior Circuit Judge Retirement: Havelock-Allan QC

His Honour Judge Sir Mark Havelock-Allan QC retires as a Senior Circuit Judge with effect from 1 June 2017.

Sir Mark Havelock-Allan QC (66) was called to the Bar (I) in 1974, took Silk in 1993 and elected a Bencher in 1995. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1993, a Recorder in 1997, a Senior Circuit Judge (Bristol Mercantile Court) in 2001 and a Deputy High Court Judge (Commercial Court and Admirality Court) in 2002. He was appointed Principal Judge (Bristol Technology and Construction Court) in 2005.
