Senior Circuit Judge, Resident Judge Appointment: His Honour Judge Zeidman QC

The Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, has appointed His Honour Judge Martyn Zeidman QC to be a Senior Circuit Judge, Resident Judge based at Snaresbrook Crown Court with effect from 4 January 2017.

His Honour Judge Martyn Zeidman QC, aged 64 was called to the Bar (M) in 1974 and took Silk in 1998. He was appointed as an Assistant Recorder in 1995, as a Recorder in 1999 and as a Circuit Judge in 2001. He also served as a Fee-paid Legal Member of the Restricted Patients Panel (now known as a Fee-paid Judge of the First Tier Tribunal, Health Education and Social Care Chamber) between 1999 and 2012.
