High Court: Retirement of The Honourable Sir Ross Frederick Cranston FBA

The Honourable Sir Ross Frederick Cranston FBA retires from the High Court (Queen’s Bench) with effect from 16 March 2017.

Sir Ross Cranston FBA (68) was called to the Bar (G) in 1976, took Silk in 1998 and was elected a Bencher in 1998. He was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1991 and a Recorder in 1997. He was Solicitor General for England and Wales from 1998 to 2001. He was appointed a Judge of the High Court (Queen’s Bench Division) in 2007 and Judge in Charge of Administrative Court in 2016.
