High Court: Retirement of The Honourable Sir Andrew David Collins

The Honourable Sir Andrew David Collins retires from the High Court (Queen’s Bench) with effect from 20 July 2017.

Sir Andrew Collins (75) was called to the Bar (M) in 1965, took Silk in 1985 and was elected a Bencher in 1992. He was appointed a Recorder in 1986 and a Judge of the High Court (Queen’s Bench Division) in 1994. He was President of the Immigration Appeal Tribunal from 1999 to 2002 and the Lead Judge in the Administrative Court for England and Wales from 2004 to 2007.
