High Court: Retirement of The Honourable Dame Sonia Rosemary Susan Proudman DBE

The Honourable Dame Sonia Rosemary Susan Proudman DBE retired from the High Court (Chancery Division) with effect from 2 October 2017.

Dame Sonia Proudman (68) was called to the Bar (L) in 1972, was an Eldon Scholar at the University of Oxford in 1973, took Silk in 1994 and elected as a Bencher in 1996. She was appointed an Assistant Recorder in 1996, a Recorder in 2000 and a Deputy High Court Judge in 2001. She was appointed a Judge of the High Court (Chancery Division) and a Member of the Panel of Chairmen for the Competition Appeal Tribunal in 2008.
