District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Appointment: Spruce

The Queen has appointed Timothy Andrew James Spruce to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court with effect from 11 May 2016.

Timothy Andrew James Spruce, aged 48, will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Spruce. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1994. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) in 2006.
