The Queen has appointed Nicholas Patrick Edward Rimmer to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court with effect from 21 March 2016.

Nicholas Patrick Edward Rimmer, aged 36, will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Rimmer. He was called to the Bar (L) in 2004. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) in 2012.
