The Queen has appointed Shomon Khan to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Westminster Magistrates’ Court with effect from 21 March 2016.

Shomon Khan, aged 44, will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Khan. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1996. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) in 2012.
