The Queen has appointed Alexander Marc Jacobs to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lidington MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Westminster Magistrates’ Court with effect from 29 January 2018.

Alexander Marc Jacobs, aged 45, will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Jacobs. He was called to the Bar (G) in 1997. He was appointed as a fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber in 2011 and as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) in 2012.
