The Queen has appointed Andrew Timothy Boswell to be a District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Lidington MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at North Staffordshire Justice Centre with effect from 29 January 2018.

Andrew Timothy Boswell, aged 36, will be known as District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) Boswell. He was called to the Bar (G) in 2004. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge (Magistrates’ Courts) in 2012.
