The Queen has appointed Anna Williams to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Elizabeth Truss MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

 

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Hertford County Court with effect from 28 November 2016 on a salaried part-time working basis of 90%.

Notes to editors

Anna Williams, aged 48, will be known as District Judge Anna Williams. She was called to the Bar (G) in 1990. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2013.
