District Judge Appointment: Suh

The Queen has appointed Katherine Lucy Suh to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Maidstone Combined Court Centre on a salaried part time working basis of 80% with effect from 9 May 2016.

Katherine Lucy Suh, aged 41, will be known as District Judge Suh. She was called to the Bar (L) in 2000. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge and as a fee-paid Tribunal Judge of the First-Tier, Social Entitlement Chamber both in 2013.
