The Queen has appointed Sarah Marjorie Ellington to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP, and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at the Court of Protection with effect from 8 May 2018.

Sarah Marjorie Ellington, aged 50, will be known as District Judge Sarah Ellington. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1995. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2006.
