District Judge Appointment: Samantha Johnson

The Queen has appointed Samantha Louise Johnson to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Elizabeth Truss MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Northern Circuit, based at Liverpool Civil and Family Court on a salaried part-time working basis of 80% with effect from 2 February 2017.

Samantha Louise Johnson, aged 45, will be known as District Judge Samantha Johnson. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1997. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010.
