District Judge Appointment: Robert Dawson

The Queen has appointed Robert George Howard Dawson to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Elizabeth Truss MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Northern Circuit, based at Blackpool County  Court with effect from 18 January 2017.

Notes to editors

Robert George Howard Dawson, aged 59, will be known as District Judge Robert Dawson. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1982. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010.
