District Judge Appointment: Owen

The Queen has appointed Wendy Jane Owen to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Michael Gove MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the Wales Circuit, based in Caernarfon County and Family Court with effect from 4 July 2016.

Notes to editors

Wendy Jane Owen, aged 47, will be known as District Judge Owen. She was admitted as a solicitor in 1994 and called to the Bar (M) in 2002. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2008.
