District Judge Appointment: Nicola Shaw

The Queen has appointed Nicola Jane Duckworth Shaw to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Elizabeth Truss MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Teesside Combined Court Centre with effect from 3 November 2016.

Nicola Jane Duckworth Shaw, aged 51, will be known as District Judge Nicola Shaw. She was called to the Bar (L) in 1992. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010.
