District Judge Appointment: Murch

The Queen has appointed Stephen James Murch to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Elizabeth Truss MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midland Circuit, based at Nuneaton County Court and Coventry Combined Court Centre with effect from 7 February 2017.

Notes to editors

Stephen James Murch, aged 47, will be known as District Judge Murch. He was called to the Bar (L) in 1991. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2006.
