The Queen has appointed Caroline Frances Bell to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Romford, Bow and Clerkenwell and Shoreditch County & Family Courts with effect from 1 October 2014.

Notes to editors

Caroline Frances Bell, aged 49, will be known as District Judge Caroline Bell. She was admitted as a Solicitor. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010.
