District Judge Appointment: Kelly

The Queen has appointed Siobhan Marie Kelly to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Leeds Combined Court Centre, with effect from 5 November 2014.

Notes to editors

Siobhan Marie Kelly, aged 42, will be known as District Judge Kelly. She was called to the Bar (G) in 1995. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge and as a Recorder in 2010.
