The Queen has appointed Shelley Claire Hesford to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.
The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed her to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Leeds Combined Court Centre with effect from 27 March 2015.

Shelley Claire Hesford, aged 47, will be known as District Judge Hesford. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1991. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010.
