District Judge Appointment: Hatvany

The Queen has appointed Peter Galbraith Hatvany to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Elizabeth Truss MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the Western Circuit, based at Exeter Combined Court and Barnstaple County and Family Court Centre with effect from 31 October 2016.

Notes to editors

Peter Galbraith Hatvany, aged 52, will be known as District Judge Hatvany. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1991. He was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2001.
