District Judge Appointment: Harrison

The Queen has appointed Sophie Victoria Harrison to be a District Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP.

The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed her to the South Eastern Circuit, based at Brentford County Court, with effect from 15 September 2014.

Notes to editors

Sophie Victoria Harrison, aged 45, will be known as District Judge Sophie Harrison. She was admitted as a Solicitor in 1994. She was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010.
